What Was in the Butternut Gardens LLC Bouquets ?

An ever-changing parade of seasonal blooms …

Pussy willow, daffodils, hyacinths, hellebores and tulips announced the end of winter, forming the mainstays of early spring bouquets.

Peonies, foxglove, delphinium and more softly ushered in the warmth of May and early summer.

By the time June morphed into July, the hot colors of summer sizzled with sunflowers, zinnias and the likes stealing the show.

Then, time came for dahlias to lend their special allure and usher us all through the shortening days of summer and early fall, before leaving us with soft bronze hues of chrysanthemums, berries and the best of the autumn’s harvest.

Throughout, lilies were a mainstay of the farm’s bouquets, with offerings changing weekly.

Also, throughout, extra-special scented posies shined, with bursts of unmatched color and fragrance.

In winter we rested and planned for another season.
